You’ll also see the sassy on-screen message: “A reaper has been slain. If a Reaper dies during the fight, your squad will wipe. Your goal is to keep them alive long enough to complete the ritual by distracting (i.e. When you start, they’ll teleport into the room one by one, starting on Arrow. Reapersīefore the fight begins, you’ll notice Grenth’s Seven Reapers on the ramp to the Hall of Judgment. When I say left and right or clockwise and counterclockwise, I am referring to those directions when you are facing Dhuum’s throne. This configuration is generally accepted by the community, but I make no promises that your squad leader will follow it. Look at the image to see which marker is where. In this guide, I’ll be referring to specific squad markers at each of the Reapers. The room also has seven seals, one for each Reaper. Dhuum is possessive of his throne, so if you attempt to sit in it (or on his lap) or are knocked into it at any point before or during the fight, you will die. The Hall of Judgment is a long room with stairs on one side and Dhuum’s throne on the other. Enemies in the pre-phase take increased power damage, so consider bringing one or two power DPS to handle them if needed.īoss types: Instant death, personal responsibility, role heavy Renegades are particularly potent, especially because they bring a spammable boon strip. DPS: Condition DPS is generally better for Dhuum because there are technically only two phases. As usual, a druid or tempest is standard for boons while your secondary healer can be anything. Healers: I recommend two healers for most groups so you can have one stay with the stack while the other performs a role, but you might be able to get away with one.You can use an STM chrono as well, even if they’re tanking since you do not need high toughness to tank. Boon support: The regular Firebrigade comp works well here, but Condi RR is recommended due to the lack of phases, and to help with boon removal via Banish Enchantment. You’ll need some condition cleanses and boon removal or conversion. Many consider Dhuum to be the hardest raid boss due to having many roles and (near) instant death mechanics and requiring excellent spatial awareness on the part of every squad member. This guide is only for the general mechanics of the fight. It covers the ins and outs of those roles in detail. If you’re brand new to raiding, I recommend reading my Raiding 101 guides first.ĭue to the challenging roles on this boss I’ve created a supplemental guide for the messenger kiter and orb collectors (better known as running greens). Welcome to my guide for The Voice in the Void, The Final Judge, The Ender of All, Death Inevitable (but we’ll just call him Dhuum for short), the last boss in the Hall of Chains.
